I’m pretty sure that n the Crime Level report under Population, it should say “Anti-aggression sentiments”, not sediments.

Actually it is really "Anti-aggression sediments". This would be some kind of substance from the Mars surface that the settlers have found to be reducing aggression when imbibed.
Of course this is all made-up in a way, there are no such known sediments on Earth, LOL. But a little bit mystery doesn't hurt.
