RTG are worthless !?

I need power.

I am thus evaluating the use of building an Isotope Extractor to come up with the radioactive material to finally build a RTG. Comparing this with wind turbines, building a RTG produces the same energy as 10 wind turbines, yet consumes more building materials and has negative effects on happiness and healt.

Shouldn´t RTG power production be increased in order to make sense to even consider building one ?
